The 2026 IPTA Student week will be hosted on the North West University campus of Potchesfstroom, from 15 to 19 June, providing local and international students with opportunities to engage and develop their pulsar science skills.

The programme will teach participants pulsar data analysis, high precision pulsar timing skills and techniques to search for a stochastic gravitational wave background using pulsar timing experiments.

This week is open to both students already enganged in IPTA and pulsar research, as well as to students interested in learning more about this developing field of research.
The call for early expression of interest will open in January 2026.
